Los Silencios

Amparo takes refuge with her two children, Nuria and Fabio, in an enigmatic place called "Fantasy Island" between Colombia, Brazil, and Peru. Upon arriving at this magical place, Nuria decided to remain completely silent when she heard about her father, who was supposedly dead.

The film was screened at the Directors' Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018 and at the 20th Havana Film Festival New York. Protagonist Marleyda Soto was awarded the Havana Star Prize for Best Actress for her role in the film.
